The main house completed in 2002 is 2300 sq feet with 2 bedrooms, 1 office/spare room, 2.5 baths, a 20×20 great room, full kitchen and dining room flanked with french doors, decks and views of the forest and Tualatin Valley. The house was designed to take advantage of passive solar and cooling from the creek below. The carpets are wool, kitchen floor marmoleum, and bathrooms tiled.

All the appliances are energy-star, light fixtures use compact florescents. The house has only been cleaned with eco-friendly cleaning products. An additional 1350 sq foot heated basement/garage has 2 car spaces plus multiple storage areas and a 20×20 daylight room/workshop sits below the house.
